Power: two AA batteries or hard-wire a 120VAC adapter. Internal radio transmission antenna communicates with WaterCop if installed. Water sensor alarm intensity similar to watch alarm or pager beep when probe detects moisture. WaterCop , if installed, shuts off WaterCop protected water valve. Internal 418 MHz radio transmitter chip set has up to a 200 foot operating range. Moisture sensor has user adjustable digital security codes. Low battery warning chirp. 3 VDC. 10 mA. Compatible with older and new classic systems. 6 foot water sensor cord. Indoor use only. Note: Safe Home does not recommend using this unit as a local stand-alone alarm as it is not loud .
